Vaccines should be given at the age of 8 weeks and should include: DA2PP, Kennel Cough (Bordetella), Lyme Disease and repeated every 4 weeks until the puppy reaches the age of 16 weeks. Rabies vaccine is given after the puppy reaches 16 weeks of age and only given once yearly.

These feline vaccines are recommended on an annual basis. Canadian law requires that Rabies vaccine be given yearly to a cat even if the pet lives indoor.

Kitten Vaccines

A good vaccine program for a kitten starts at 8 weeks of age with an FRCP that contains (Rhinotracheitis, Panleukopenia and Calicivirus) and is given 4 weeks apart and Rabies vaccine is given once kitten reaches 16 weeks of age and only given once yearly.
